These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CBUSEVENTS platform at cbusevents.com, operated by CBUS Events LLC, an Ohio limited liability company incorporated March 15, 2026 ("CBUSEVENTS," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account, making a purchase, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Platform

CBUSEVENTS is a Columbus, Ohio event ecosystem connecting venues, vendors, event organizers, food professionals, event staff, attendees, creators and brand partners. The Platform is currently in its inaugural season (2026) and some features are actively under development.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2.2 Account types

The Platform offers the following account roles:

  • Attendee (free)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at hello@cbusevents.com if you believe your account has been compromised. CBUSEVENTS is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access where you have failed to maintain credential security.

3. Subscriptions and fees

Paid subscription plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Current pricing:

PlanPrice

Organizer Premium$45 / month
Venue Standard$39 / month
Venue Premium$99 / month

Subscription pricing may change with 30 days advance notice to active subscribers.

3.2 Event and festival fees

The following one-time fees apply to CBUSEVENTS-produced events:

ProductPrice
Vendor Table Fee$75
Food Truck Spot Fee$175
Food Truck Spot Fee — Early Bird$150
Poetry x Art Show entry$10
Poet x Art Entry Fee$10
1313 Food and Art Festival — Complimentary drinks$25
1313 Food and Art Festival — Complimentary drinks and poetry show$35

3.3 Inaugural spot fee incentive

Vendors and food truck operators who pay a spot fee for the inaugural 1313 Festival (June 13, 2026) receive three months of free Premium subscription access upon completion of the event. Premium access activates within five business days of the event date. Maintaining a Premium subscription after the complimentary period waives future spot fees for CBUSEVENTS-produced events, subject to availability.

3.4 Platform ticket fee

For ticketed events hosted on the Platform, CBUSEVENTS charges a platform fee of 6.5% plus $1 per ticket. This fee is deducted from ticket revenue before disbursement to the event organizer.

3.5 Ticket revenue share

Venue Premium subscribers receive a 25% share of the platform fee on ticket transactions processed through their venue listing. This is calculated as 25% of the 6.5% platform fee, not 25% of gross ticket revenue.

3.6 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Event and festival spot fees are non-refundable after the application approval date. Ticket refund policies are set by the individual event organizer. CBUSEVENTS-produced event tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by CBUSEVENTS.

4. Brand Ambassador program

The CBUSEVENTS Brand Ambassador program is a 1099 independent contractor arrangement. Ambassadors earn 25% recurring monthly commission on paid subscriptions from accounts they refer, for as long as those accounts remain on a paid plan. Commissions are paid through Stripe Connect.

Ambassador ranks — Brand Rep, Brand Manager, Territory Manager — unlock additional earning streams based on performance milestones. CBUSEVENTS reserves the right to modify commission rates with 30 days advance notice. Ambassadors are responsible for their own tax obligations on commission income.

5. Creator Collective program

The CBUSEVENTS Creator Collective is an application-based program for Columbus-based content creators. Participation requires application approval by CBUSEVENTS. Creators receive a public profile page at cbusevents.com/creators/[handle] and earn commission on RSVPs, ticket sales and vendor sign-ups driven through their referral link.

CBUSEVENTS facilitates brand partnership transactions between brands and creators and takes a platform facilitation fee on each brand deal transacted through the Platform. Creators are responsible for disclosing sponsored content in accordance with FTC guidelines.

Founding Creator status — available to the inaugural cohort — carries a permanently higher commission rate. CBUSEVENTS reserves the right to remove a creator from the program for violations of these Terms or conduct that reflects negatively on the CBUSEVENTS brand.

6. Vendor and venue obligations

By listing on the Platform, vendors and venues agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current information about their business, products and services
  • Honor bookings, orders and inquiries made through the Platform in good faith
  • Maintain all required local, state and federal licenses and permits
  • Comply with Columbus city regulations for food service, events and commerce
  • Notify CBUSEVENTS promptly of any changes to availability, pricing or services

CBUSEVENTS reserves the right to remove any listing that contains false or misleading information, violates applicable law, or reflects negatively on the Platform.

7. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform (photos, descriptions, posts). By submitting content, you grant CBUSEVENTS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

You represent that you have the right to submit all content you post and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights. CBUSEVENTS may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

8. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Create false or misleading listings or profiles
  • Use the Platform to facilitate unlawful transactions
  • Harass, threaten or abuse other users
  • Scrape, crawl or extract Platform data without written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
  • Use the Platform to distribute spam or unsolicited communications
